Football Wedding Table Plans

Just a handful of orders I have been working on this week
 Hello!
The week has flown by again. Welcome to "Feature Friday"  - as the weather is far from Sping-like I have decided to feature FOOTBALL as the theme to this weeks wedding table plans.  It is more often than not the grooms choice of Wedding Breakfast theme - a chance for the groom to have his 'stamp' on the Big Day.  Next week I'll be featuring other Sport themed wedding table plan ideas we have designed including Formula 1, Track Days, Olympics, Skiing, Rugby and American Football.

The design below was created for Caroline and Ryann. Caroline is an Arsenal fan, and her fiance, Ryan, a Manchester United fanatic and they both wanted a wedding table plan to reflect their rivalry for both football teams.  The design was kept simple and classic, naming the tables after favourite players both past and present and including images of these players which were used on the table plan as well as the table name cards.  The tables were set in the formation of a team reflecting their actual table layout.

The couple wanted 'Top Table' to be the Management team so Caroline asked her Top Table guests to send her photographs of themselves with arms crossed to use on the plan.  Adding photographs to the table plan is not only a wonderful way to really personalise your wedding seating plan but it also creates the perfect keepsake.

Caroline and Ryann also asked us to put together an AO memory board to display on the easel at the Evening Reception. Caroline emailed me the photos and I edited each one to ensure they were bright enough and decent quality, and set them out in the centre of the board with a space left in the middle for a photo of the couples wedding day to be added later.  A large border was left around the edge so that guests could write a message to the newly weds - a modern adaptation of the Guest Book! The perfect keepsake.

Caroline's Testimonial:
Hi Jane, You beat me to it. We are absolutely thrilled with both the table plan and the memory board. We were feeling guilty about overspending on our budget in order to get these done, but when they arrived today, they are worth every penny! The table plan is so unique to us and its really great quality and will be remembered by everyone. And the memory board is amazing and its massive, and i think its very much like us both, a bit larger than life..! and will be a real centre piece for our wedding. Thanks once again for all your help and support, and for your good wishes. I would definately recommend you to other brides to be. All the best Caroline and Ryann"

There are many ways to add the football theme to your table plan and the best way to illustrate them is to show you past orders and brand new designs.  All available on the website www.weddingtableplans.com

Chelsea Table: An image of the stadium is used as the backdrop and the tables set blue specified by the couple to match their flowers. The subtle use of the Chelsea logo added for interest.

Simple Liverpool FC design complete with matching Liverpool FC stationery. The tables are in the shape of Football shirts and its all about the Club logo on this design.

Paul is a keen Arsenal supporter and was keen to have football feature at the wedding but Steph wasn't keen for the 'full on' football theme.  The photo plan is a great compromise with images of the happy couple together, and the subtle football element is naming the tables after Arsenal players.

A SKY Sports styled table plan available for any team with the fabulous personalisation on the table stationery.  A simple design which is a real favourite with all football fans!

Keep safe in this bad weather and I look forward to sharing alternative sport themed table plan ideas next week.

Feature Friday: Wedding Cakes and Champagne!

Hello again and welcome to
"Feature Friday" !

I was originally going to call this regular blog 'Floral Friday' but decided at the last moment to change it to 'Feature Friday'  so that I could showcase a range of wedding products to illustrate how our table plans compliment wedding themes.  And I am glad I did because today I have a beautiful wedding cake to share with you by Vicki at 'The Cake Whisk'
I totally love the ruffle texture and colour blending, its so pretty and would be beautiful for a vintage wedding!

Beautiful, double-barrelled stacked wedding cake (this means that it looks like 2 tiers but its 4 actual cakes inside) made with purple ombré effect ruffles, graduating in colour  from pale to deep purple, completed with handmade sugar hydrangea flowers
– made to be kept as a keepsake.

To compliment the styling of the cake featured above I have chosen a vintage design which I have altered to blend with the colourings of this wedding. We offer a complimentary colour matching service on all of our wedding table plans.  The plan itself is an impressive A1 in size and features the well known quote 'Time to drink champagne and dance on the table' although I'm not sure what the wedding venue would think of this instruction!

This design is personalised with the bride and grooms name and date within
the 'Just Married' stamp on the design.

The personalisation is reiterated on the striking A5 double sided table name cards....

....and the guest name cards
(9cm x 6cm folded to 9cm x 3cm)

A5 menus - an optional extra.  Designed to blend in with the table plan styling.

Thank you to Vicki at The Cake Whisk
for being part of 'Feature Friday!'
Do pop over to Vicki's website to see more samples of her work. Not only do Vicki's cakes look good but I can vouch that they are delicious too... :-)

Wishing you all a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend!

Feature Friday: Cream Rose

 "FEATURE FRIDAY"
weddingtableplans.com

Welcome to "Feature Friday" where I hope to inspire you with more creative ideas as to how you can create or add to your theme at your Wedding Breakfast with your wedding table plan and table stationery.

Today I would like to illustrate how our Floral table plans can be used to compliment your wedding flowers, and to help me do this Marion Cottis from Poppies Designer Flowers has kindly supplied a photograph of a beautiful hand tied bouquet in green and white which is absolutely on trend for 2013.

Hand Tied Bouquet of Ivory ‘Avalanche’ Roses, Cream ‘Vendela’ Roses, Green ‘Wimbledon’ White Freesias, Wax Flower, Variegated Pittosporum and Eucalyptus foliage http://www.poppiesdesignerflowers.co.uk

To complement the colourings of this gorgeous bouquet I have selected our most popular Floral table plan, the Classic Cream Rose. Popular because of its simple, classic styling and neutral colour tones.

The plan is an impressive A1 size and you can choose whether to name your tables either as traditional numbers or in a theme of your choice.  Naming your tables after a theme of your choice is a great way to add a subtle personal theme to your Wedding Breakfast.

This plan was hand finished with a silver mirrored vinyl title and border inlay.
